The Starter stator assembly consists of pole core, housing, field winding. The function of the stator assembly is to generate a magnetic field, which together with the armature assembly forms a complete magnetic circuit.
Each stator is generally equipped with 4 magnetic pole core, the magnetic pole core is equipped with copper wire wound field winding, the carbon brush and commutator and armature winding are connected in series, series excitation type of starter name from this.
