Double loop extension spring
Double loop extension spring, also known as double ring stretch spring, is a spring product with special structure and function. Its main feature is the formation of a ring structure at both ends, which enables the spring to evenly separate stress when it is subjected to tensile force, thus providing stable elasticity and recovery force. And it is a spring that can provide elasticity in the stretching direction, and its structural characteristics are that the spring is usually composed of two or more rings, which are connected or overlapped in a certain way to form the overall tensile structure.
The interface of the double loop extension spring is mostly circular, and the two ends of the double loop extension spring may be designed with tension sections for connection and force. The middle part of the spring may adopt a spiral or wavy design to increase the overall elasticity and deformation space. In addition, there is usually a close contact point between the adjacent springs of the double-ring tension spring when the force is not applied, which helps to generate initial tension and control load and stiffness.
Understand the types of stretch spring ends
There are two basic end types of stretch springs: hooks and loops. The hook has a gap, while the ring is completely closed. We can customize the hook or ring end according to the customer’s needs. Hooks and loops have a concentration of different style options to meet specific needs. The most common end styles of stretch springs are: cross, machine style, side style, and double ring end.
Both the crossed and mechanical ends belong to the standard end style, in which the wire is passed to the center of the spring. The wire of the mechanical end extends directly from the spring body. The function of the two is the same, the crossed end is mainly used for small springs, and the mechanical end is mainly used for large springs.
A stretch spring with a side end means that the hook and the ring spring body are at the same level, and for the double ring end, an extra ring can strengthen the end and prevent the ring from breaking.
The final factor to consider is the relationship between the two ends. Random locations are the most common and cheapest option. If needed, we can also make ends with specific relationships. In cases where different end relationships are required, our team is able to use custom designs to meet specific needs.
Double loop extension spring have two coils, and you may not find the gap between the ends of other coils or wires. Additional coils on these springs provide them with greater strength and prevent them from breaking.
Stretch spring without hook have a slight advantage over Stretch spring with hook because Stretch spring without hook have less stress or fatigue.
You can screw the bolt into the inner diameter of the spring to increase the strength of the end, and the unhooked stretch spring is more economical and lasts longer.
Category of double loop extension spring middle end:
The double loop extension spring is available in several different ring configurations, such as: full ring, side ring, double ring and double ring. The full ring end type is located in the middle of the stretch spring coil, while the side ring has an offset ring at the outside diameter of the stretch spring end. The two-ring configuration enhances the interface because the ring end lines touch, thus enhancing the circular ring end type.
Because of its double-ring structure, the double loop extension spring can maintain good stability in the process of stretching. It is widely used in situations requiring stretching and restoring force, such as mechanical devices, electronic equipment, automotive parts, etc.
